I get a kick how people expect there doctors to know everything.

They're supposed to know more than their patients, and people look at you like a crackpot if you think you know more about something than your doctor.

Why do PhDs think being a clinical doctor is so easy? Reducing real people, with complex issues down to a data point, often skews the reality. We seem to expect our clinical doctors to be masters of science and complex social and cultural issues at the same time.

Depends on the school. Mine had a half term class in human sexuality. A group of us also agitated for and got a class on sexuality and ethical issues.
