The likelihood that two vast and disparate problems (climate change and economic inequality) just happen to be optimally solvable by the _same_ policy interventions is negligible. She has to prioritize and solve the X-risk; the other is relatively minor in terms of human welfare.
I agree that she should probably pursue a Green Deal and a New Deal separately. I'm just saying I don't think she's insincere about climate change.

No. The two are not mutually exclusive. Letting big companies pollute freely is bad economic & environmental policy. Making average joe pay for environmental damage from corporations is bad economic & environmental policy.
EXCUSE ME? Climate change in Africa. Middle East, even south central Asia is DIRECTLY linked to famine, drought, and displacement. If that latter trio isn't closely associated w/ "economic inequality," it's very close. It would be easier to just ask leftists if there is *any* political belief they hold that does not relate to inequality. We all know the answer is "no", because if it were "yes", then they couldn't accuse opponents of that belief of being "-ists" or "-phobes".
