Solving the unemployment rate might help solving the unmated rate. It's no secret that unemployed men have a hard time on the mating market. And the unemployment rate is frankly more of a political issue than people's sex lives-
The current social climate represents a trench of distrust and fear between the sexes. Women are afraid of sexual harrasment, men are afraid of unjust outcasting and slander. While *fulfilling* employment helps both mating and mental health, it is not enough to adress the issue.
What do you think are some of the solutions?
@AndrewYang probably would be.
So what should the rate be?
Exactly. We are shocked by this but we do not know what the real rate should be. In all species there is a percentage of male that struggles to mate. Also males are supposed to die at higher rates than females but in our society they survive due to better health conditions.
I'd like to see a study into attitudes regarding fatalism and how it relates to this

It’s not just video games. It’s anti-male bias in the education system, which has produced a generation of men who earn less than women. Also, social media “likes” appear to be an effective substitute for sex.
