Among college grads who get married after age 24 or so, I think the divorce rate is now actually down to around 20%, IIRB. The 50% is wildly inflated by low-educated people who marry very young and then split before kids. Starter marriages.

Yes! I talk about this in my book, OTHERHOOD. Assumption that singles have sex whenever/with whomever is a married person's sexual fantasy projected onto single people - who would prefer to be home *snuggled on couch w/ their partner, watching Netflix 1/2

I can attest. Married 23 years to the only woman I've ever been with, and very satisfied.

I got far more and better sex when I was unmarried. These statistics NEVER separate out INTENTIONALLY unmarried men who pursue sex (run “game”) from the poor, sickly, uncouth men who can’t attract a wife nor get casual sex or the men who aren’t interested in either.

Don't forget the men who choose to be celibate/abstinence before marriage.

Lots of correlations, of course. Income, age, education. None of that invalidates the statistics, but I question the implication that marriage makes for better sex. I've been single, married, and open. All were fun, but my 'open' years have been my 'sexiest.'
