Conscientious seems helpful so I'm not sure why filtering that out would be desirable. But I dislike the higher ed option anyway because it incentivizes wasting more and more prime young adult time.

Based on my college experience, I wouldn’t even call it a “college degree”. They seem to be more of a test of minimal discipline to show up.

You'd be surprised how well grinders can do. A Harvard psych, prof (Shelley Carson) did a small study using an abbreviated WAIS. The range of Harvard students in the sample was 97 to 148 with a mean of 128.1. And, yes, I know it's not seminal though it's illustrative.
