Every form of government boils down to some form of oligarchic protection racket - no matter how the elites sell it to the people.
My point here is that the key variable isn't how the oligarchy sells its hidden power structure to the people it rules, but whether the people band together to limit the government's overall scale and intrusiveness. Hence my libertarianism.
