It’s baffling how so many promote “plate theory” & non-exclusivity as the primary strategy for men & in the same breath talk about how women who sleep with a man outside of a commitment are not relationship material How do you expect a woman to go about this then?

Shouldn’t there be two different standards, because there are two (quite) different sexes?
-
It’s not that he’s referencing it’s the honesty. Ethical (whether exclusive or nonexclusive) relationships

For consenting adults, what would you say is the difference between 'plates' and 'poly'?
-
@primalpoly can answer best but I would assume he would focus on ethical vs non ethical non-exclusivity Many PUAs who spin plates are not ethical and deceive/manipulate their plates.

Men subconsciously feel they only need women for sex. Me being a man I understand that thinking. It's a cheap way out of putting your heart on the line and exposing the type of man u really are. Women will bring emotions out of u that u though u had under control. Men know this.

It’s almost like men and women are different, have different mating strategies and motivations, and promiscuity is weighed and appraised differently by each as a result. Making such a hamfisted attempt at an apples to oranges comparison like this is downright laughable.

It's not a double standard. You're interpreting it incorrectly. The typical plate spinner is responding in kind to the dating market he's being presented. They typically want a woman with low sexual experience who will commit to them. Not getting that, they're not giving it.

That’s right. They’re merely playing the hand they are dealt in society as it is, not as they would like it to be. Is it Nihilistic? Probably. But their appraisal is not wrong. This original tweet trying to make an apples/oranges comparison of M/F promiscuity is laughably vacuous
