I wish there was more open public discussion about the harms of pornography, particularly on young people. There is a lot of moralizing from the anti-porn side which I think makes the discussion difficult, especially since feelings of shame already clog up open dialogue.

It's also important to talk honestly about variation in porn use like frequency of use, duration of use, specific genres viewed, regular vs. VR porn., etc; and to make fair comparisons to other entertainment experiences like Netflix or Overwatch.

I think as Sarah pointed out earlier, this is a surprisingly hot topic of issue on men's forums / blogs (and not some feminist forum). There is something underneath this and it hasn't yet caught on in mainstream because young men are not likely to discuss this in open
