How long of a collective sabbatical should mainstream American news journalists take, to go away and think about what they've done, before they write or speak another word about anything?

We need to keep in mind that these journalists don't have a lot of leeway, this is corporate media. Just as people that work for Boeing and Lockheed can see what is wrong but he helpless to change it, modern corporate journalists are doing public relations for their owners.

Who are their owners--these people apparently so intent on fomenting intervention in the Middle East and hostility to Russia? I bet that might be a pretty interesting question to raise, ya know? Anybody? Bueller, Bueller?

While away, they can also ponder their complicity in the Iraq "babies in incubators" and "Weapons of Mass Destruction," the astro-turfed "Arab Spring," and Assad's "chlorine barrel bombs." After a point, the default has to be that they are propagandists, not reporters.

Zero. The followed a deeply credible story and got it at least partly wrong (how far off we don't know). But there is no shame in that suspicion given how Trump has comported himself with Russia. Like denying they even tried to tangle with us, which Mueller confirms again.

We should reward those journalists who were true to their profession and covered this story honestly and ethically over the yearS (can't believe this has gone on so long.) I could single out a few but there weren't many. I encourage others to list and share the honest actors.

The UK MSM were just as culpable.

A week is reasonable. In fact, we could crowdfund to provide them with a mediation retreat, untethered from their phones. It would do the country some good.

What they've done in regards to what? Media has done a lot of bad lately but if referring to Russia Trump investigation I'm unaware of any wrong doing. I sincerely want to see specific examples if they exist.

The story hasn’t ended. It’s still a big deal. We need journalists.
