The whole position to me seems to be a tautology. In order to have more humans we must have more children... does anyone deny this? Does anyone think people will actually stop having enough children?! When has or will this ever become a serious problem?!

While it seems productive genius is extremely rare eg Einstein, Turring, Neumann, Newton etc. What was most important for them was having the freedom to work. There children or lack thereof had virtually nothing to add to the products of their genius if it was not a hindrance.

With Earth's population more than doubling in 50 years ( from ~ 3.5 bil in 1967 to ~7.5 bil in 2017) that sure seems, like a pressing issue.
