I wish there was more open public discussion about the harms of pornography, particularly on young people. There is a lot of moralizing from the anti-porn side which I think makes the discussion difficult, especially since feelings of shame already clog up open dialogue.
I highly recommend 'The myth of sex addition' and 'Ethical porn for d*cks' by @DrDavidLey. Research says the harms of porn are vastly overblown by the anti-fap manosphere, and mostly driven by religiosity & sex-negative embarrassment.
Thanks Geoffrey! I wouldn't be surprised if the harms are overblown... but do you think there are any possible harms at all to porn consumption? If so, what do you think they might be?
The key thing is to distinguish between porn viewing, masturbation, and ejaculation. They may have different benefits and harms, but the anti-fap community is so sex-negative that they can't talk clearly about the differences.
From a psychiatric practice i worked in, observed that some male "porn addicted" patients were rendered incapable of sexual arousal without the hyper visual stimulation of porn and had no ability or motivation to have satisfying sex with a living human.
Please publish some case studies in peer reviewed journals about this. If true, it should contribute to the scientific discussion.

I can concur. I've read the Ethical one by @DrDavidLey and found it very interesting. I originally started very sceptical of his positions (my reason for reading it) but found it quite convincing.
Gunna pass on this one. If u don't think the porn industry is populated by loads of broken ppl shame on ya. Many r the one's Jordan Peterson describes as barely being able to work, do a job application etc. Anyway ya cut it fucking low iq ppl and then making a show of it is awful
