IIRC, Fisher 1915 introduced both runaway and good genes theories, but JBS Haldane in the 30s hated both theories (for socialist reasons!), and sort of buried Fisher's best ideas. At least so I argued in Mating Mind.
Did Richard Prum say anything that I didn't say already in The Mating Mind (2000)? Worth reading?

I haven't read your book (it's on my list!). I thought Prum's book was excellent, though. He does come down hard (perhaps unfairly so) on evolutionary psychologists, though - just a fair warning. And many of his ideas about Homo Sapiens are highly speculative (he admits this tho)
