Not at all. I knew not much at all about Rogan except his tv show stuff and I came away liking him. Think he should be tougher but that is clearly not his jam.

A reason many are attracted to JR’s guests is because of how often they stop and attempt to “steelman” positions they oppose. That’s so different than what the author of this Slate article does, such as repeating the popular deliberate misread of Kanye’s “slave choice” remark.

How do their accusations *always* describe their "side" better? Elite laypeople teamed up to pretend they knew biology for a week to denounce Damore's citing of actual science as false & hateful. It's so meta, b.c it's all a form of gaslighting (another term they levy!).

I had an animation professor (nothing wrong with that) who doesn't know a single thing about evolutionary biology (bad) confidently regurgitating what Buzzfeed told him about the matter (*in* the context of my claiming the media got it wrong). Almost no epistemological humility.
