I think it’s too often overlooked just how incredibly the Protestant Reformation paved the way for the founding of America & the formation of western values
Even atheist libertarians like me owe a lot to Martin Luther. He was the original free speech hero.

Curious: what kind of libertarian are you? Minimal state (state provision of only a handful of key public goods)? Anarchist? And do you hold your position on moral grounds (e.g. ppl morally entitled to their pretax income) and/or empirical (higher welfare w/ a smaller state)?
