@primalpoly, but I 53 I can look back on my life and the decisions I made when I was younger and find agreement with this article. A great many decisions I made in my teens are hilariously indefensible. This did not improve that much until my mid to late 20's. -

I feel like this is "in 25 years kids will be watching TV 50 hours a day" logic. Just because I dont think our current culture has kids prepared enough to think at 16 doesnt mean extend to all frames of reference.

Whether or not it's intellectually defensible, I don't care about someone's age. I prefer that people not vote until they've moved out of their mom's basement and have held a pay stub with their own name on it in their hands. Voting should be harder, not easier.

I used to attend a church where “young adults” ended up being defined by the age of the [crazy] pastor’s oldest son. When I started attending that church, the age group was considered 18-25. When I left, it was 18-35.
