The book is still worth reading. Even if scientifically inaccurate, it still shows how psychometrics grew out of dodgy ideological soil and we need to be very careful to keep ourselves unbiased.
The book was just as wrong about history and ideology as it was about science. Only worth reading as an example of cynical manipulation, partisan rhetoric, and virtue-signaling.
