TBH, I'm pessimistic about changing the minds of the campus 'Agents'/NPCs/SJWs who don't understand free speech. They never will. I'm interested in changing the cost/benefit analysis that administrators use when responding to those Agents' censorious demands. The XO would do that

Simon, you nailed it. One needs to be willing to abandon deep-seated beliefs, even biases, in search of the truth, and respect other people's opinions, versus issuing sweeping condemnations and labels when it doesn't fit their narrative.
Agree. Sometimes, to change minds you have to roll the heads they're in. Heterodox Academics need to consult diversity of opinion on this matter, and listen to people not suffering from TDS.
