Martial arts are a brilliant thing. Rather than eschewing and outright demonising aggression. They harness it with honour and discipline. It's good to see so many children learning them.

I started BJJ around six months ago because I suspected it would be a refuge from all of the "masculinity is toxic" nonsense, and it is. This article is fantastic. And validating.

It must be welcoming more fleeing toxic douchebags by the day, because BJJ guys I met 5 yrs ago, used to be cool -- the last couple -- absolute 'roid-raging assholes. It is a refuge for jerks --it needs a code for off-the-mat living & thank goodness some are trying to make one.
