And the health inspectors to make sure I don't have roaches in my breakfast cereal. I stopped publicly identifying as a libertarian because I was tired of being associated with the knuckleheads who think any regulation is tantamount to slavery.

That would be a "centrist" libertarianism. Leftlib will require something done to partially reset previous conditions, probably with a complete reworking of intellectual property rights

UBI seems to contradict basic economic principles, so it may not be the best idea. Better to just give charity to the poor the way we do now. That could even be ramped up. After all, simple monetary help is pretty barebones. Some may need more.
