I admittedly didn't make that clear. If defunding universities which don't support free speech (I support free speech 100%) your forcing universities to take a position they don't believe in. I don't like the idea that a government dictates a rule for universities to follow (1/2)

They are not. They are simply declaring that tax dollars will not go there. Pretty simple I think. Like anything else, you can do as you like just don’t expect tax dollars.
