Treatments targeting the aging process to reverse the disabilities, frailty and diseases of aging - like this advocates - are based on some solid early science, especially the highly cited Hallmarks of Aging paper ( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3836174/ … ) Try not to discount it immediately.

One reasonable objections exists: if some rapid breakthrough increases life expectancy by 25-30y for living old people, we have to completely redo all guaranteed annuity arrangements or it was be the most massive transfer of generational wealth in history (toward old people)

Length of life is insignificant compared to quality of life. Why are we desperate to prolong a brief existence with infinite stretches of oblivion on either side. Tired, stale thinking needs fresh blood, fresh perspective, boundless energy and optimism with each new generation.
