Well, that's a bit of a stretch IMO. You can't really blame the majority of non-super-rich people for wanting to prioritize their present generation's health situation over potential immortality for later generations. Self-preservation instincts are understandably strong.
Why don't they care about the longevity of their kids and grandkids? Seems utterly, deeply, unethically bizarre and selfish to me.

I meet a lot of academics who think we that 'health disparities' is the number one problem in American health care. Not aging or death themselves. Just modest disparities in when and how they happen.
