I like the idea (that I heard from @jordanbpeterson but I'm sure its elsewhere too) that cooperation is the natural resource the produces more resources, and harnessing that cooperation was a major evolution. I also like this idea that language was they way we did that.

Would love to hear more evo psych people address mimesis and its consequences, a la Girard, which you can argue is more fundamental than language.

In the words of the Police, poets, priests and politicians all owe words for their positions...I note that high end politicians and priests account for a disproportionate number of psychopaths. ie language gives cover to psychopaths.

Why is the conclusion that the bully was “executed”? Don’t most battles for dominance end with the loser conceding and moving on?...either to a beta position or outcast?
