Opera is one art that I never learned to appreciate. I listened to Mozart, Bizet, Wagner, et cetera, but I could never get past the ridiculous style of singing. I feel like such a philistine.

True at the level of melody. But there's much more richness of timbral variety in modern dubstep than in any classical music. Different kinds of richness & depth I guess.
