That's not a very effective way to minimize existential risks like nuclear war or bioterrorism. With all due respect to Mr. Taleb.

Besides being neat to create business for yourself snark comeback, tough to worry about that when one looks at the threats in here-and-now. Communities fraying, loneliness growing, those not off'ng themselves on all sorts of chemicals (and not for fun euphoria).

maybe, perhaps, we'd be better off if we realized the importance of being a bank manager, acct, teacher, diner owner, mcdonald's cashier at home and build strong communities... then, pay for luggage for others to join in. Better than encouraging nihilism as 80k hrs thinking does
