I have met many who regard EI as credible and as a sort of temperate colleague of IQ.

Re: Emotional intelligence, multiple intelligence, and learning styles. How about a rebranding as emotional competencies, multiple domains of competencies, and preferential modalities of pedagogical presentation? These concepts can be useful, but the inaccurate naming confuses.

So what's that thing called when someone can't read a room accurately enough to be able to undertake a task well when it's assigned by a group? What about those super clever people who assume what they know will give them the correct answer to a question.

Actors can be incredible mimics and can interpret situations extremely well but are lost in an IQ test. What about wisdom? Or creative talent? What about those that can't see the wood for the trees?
