I was lucky enough to watch Avatar in IMAX 3D when it came out, and it blew me away. Visually stunning. That was a great era for movies, at least for me, as a young adult. Iron Man was 2007, the 1st Nolan Batman was 2005, Lord of the Rings trilogy was done but still new, etc.
