This is an amazingly disingenuous framing of the issue and even of the @DavidAFrench article/argument (which was in itself disingenuous). Congrats!

The fact that this is even a question blows my mind.

It's really not.

I am a liberal Christian, & don't care whether a celebrity practices any given faith. I think it's cool if they are committed to a faith, but either way it doesn't bother me. I don't like the idea of certain churches that are anti-LGBTQ, or discriminate against others.

Don't sugar coat it. He attends a homophobic church. Idk where you got the idea he gets to be free from any criticism for doing so.

This is common decency. Until someone can provide to the world proof-positive of the reason for our existence, we must allow people to search for meaning. Also a good question is: what’s the alternative if it’s *not* OK? Excommunication from pop culture?

I'm a bad example of a Christian as I believe most the nation is. Pratt being a good Christian only helps his numbers if hurts his brand. Tom Cruise is in a cult and I can't wait to see his next movie whatever it may be.

But what kind of Christian? If they believe that the Bible justifies chattel slavery, or polygamy, or holy war, would we then be so accommodating?
-
I don’t think that there’s any Christian who believes in the first two.

Considering the large number of multiple comments I'm going ask this in the general thread: I need a specific definition of "homophobic" in relation to Pratt's church's practices?
-
The definition of labels used by the Left will be determined solely by political convenience. The ambiguity is intentional.
