I'm not sure why mean-wealth v. IQ is so non-linear. At the moment I think it might be due to the number of rounds in a history and the fact that players aren't willing to lose more than 20% of their wealth in a single game. I'll have to tinker with those values.

Mostly though, I think NNT ends up refuting himself since he knows that 1) Wealth has much to do w/ randomness 2) A better notion of a person's wealth is to average over all their alternative life-histories 3) This signal that remains after averaging covaries positively w/ IQ

Yeah, as I was posting, I realized there's a point that NNT made that I didn't test though, which was how possible "blow-ups" affect the results over long periods. I think this is related to his "intelligence = survivability" claim. I'll have to tinker with this some more.

I'm not sure it's worth taking his points too seriously. They seem to be either completely trivial (other things affect income as well), completely imaginary (consider a function...)) or completely anecdotal (I once knew a guy).
