Taleb's main problem is that he spends all his damn time playing with randomness and not enough time talking about structure. His shit is great to critique those who just throw regressions or back propagated neural nets at every problem set. Otherwise, *groan*

This seems highly accurate. To be fair though, a LOT of modern science seems to be founded on linear regression analysis though, which gives him a lot targets. That's my impression anyway.
