Climate change is an existential threat, bad humor is not. You chose to call out bad humor rather than the most powerful man in the world denying climate change. I don't know what type of signaling you're doing with this tweet, but we need even less of it than virtue signaling.
Climate change isn't even in the top five list of existential threats for the 21st century. It's moderately important, but it's massively oversold.

I hate to defend him here as I don’t agree with his flippancy towards climate change, but he probably means that AI and biowarfare are much bigger threats and more likely to completely wipe out the species than climate change which will damage but likely not destroy us.
