It would appear I missed an important memo from our friends at Google. They are going to start algorithmically burying content that doesn’t violate their terms of service. YouTube & Google constitute much of our market place of ideas. Is that a Free Market? An Open Market?

Not sure how "not recommending", or more precisely, "not recommending as much" amounts to censorship. If I write a review of a book/play/movie, do I now *have* to recommend it? Otherwise I am "censoring"?

I would say that because YouTube is a very large platform, they have a lot of power if they choose to influence how and what gets recommended. But I guess there really is no way for them to have no influence on that because there's an algorithm behind it all.
