The fact that the Green New Deal also eliminates new carbon-free nuclear energy indicates this plan is not about carbon emissions. It’s about destroying our economy so they can build a socialist one. To Dems’ credit, at least they’re being more honest about their extremism.

Question: Why build nuclear reactors on Earth, with all their potential problems, when we have a ENORMOUS nuclear reactor that our planet orbits? Can we simply admit this is a have/have not issue, and not a technology issue?
-
They never want to talk about solar, only nuclear because nuclear power is big business. They can keep average people dependent on their corporations, and they keep the political power. Solar ends all that.

Hi, Geoff - What are your thoughts on storing spent fuel rods and private insurance instead of the FedGov covering the liability?
-
I don't mind either way. The volume of spent nuclear fuel is very small.

They are waiting for the Tesla free energy they think we’ve been denied by the evil energy corporations.

Why do you keep conflating disagreement with bad faith? There are many strong arguments against nuclear power -- based on science and economics. You can disagree, but the shrill disdain is unbecoming.
-
Okay, let's hear the arguments against Nuclear Power. I spent 4 years sleeping next to a nuclear reactors, and had to learn about it's operation and safety, so I actually do know what I am talking about.

You agree it's a secret plan to destroy our economy and capitalize on the ensuing chaos? It's a well intentioned flawed plan. Part of the solution process. Crenshaw's take is just an attempt to monetize cynicism and rile up the base. Swamp 101

You know, because bring morally right is better than being factually right, right?
