Incorrect urban myth. If you lived past five, you were likely to live into your 60s to 80s in prehistory.

I guess that depends on your definition of ancestor. 60-80s in prehistory sounds rather optimistic. With infant mortality taken out, Roman average lifespan was only late 50's.
