Looking forward to speaking with @joerogan on his podcast tomorrow. What topics should we cover? (Go ahead, get us into trouble.)

Joe expressed his wish to moderate A talk between yourself and JP, wonder that's something still feasible down the road.

How would you quantify this? Not being glib. Could you give an example of an "invalid" hallucinatory insight.
-
A valid hallucinatory insight would be one you write down, and test empirically, and it proves correct and replicable. Many examples of that across the sciences -- basically creative imagination is being supercharged. Invalid would be, it doesn't withstand any empirical test.

LSD gave me insight into to subjective experience of meaning. Pattern recognition and pareidolia gets kicked into overdrive. Everything becomes meaningful, significant. In that hallucinatory state the brain cannot help but create its own meaning.

It seems meaningful to note that a meaningless hallucination could masquerade as one of the most meaningful experiences in someone's life.
