Perhaps it’s time we stop taking what people with names like ‘Auntie Wizdom Powell’ believe about masculinity to be the gospel of psychology? But what do I know, right?
Inside scoop: most serious psychological scientists have been embarrassed by the politicization of @APA since the 80s, and formed alternative societies such as @PsychScience. But most faculty are too frightened of losing APA clinical accreditation to make a fuss about this.

I looked up the APA Presidents who signed on to the guidelines for masculinity. Either they were Tony Robbins wannabes or they looked like they’d do well at Burning Man.
