I have respect for y'all .. but what's the response to Taleb's IQ critique? He claims it doesn't do anything reliably other than test for retardation, which in practice is redundant.
Taleb ignored a century of research on this issue. He's a charlatan on this topic.

What if he found the signal in the noise: That IQ, simply, tests for retardation? And that the societal risks of having an ostensibly accurate measurement (that people then use to push whatever agenda) are too high?
