This is why the extreme left and right both spend so much time manufacturing outrage. It's the only way to justify their lunacy.
This person has zero understanding of what's going on. They snipe at both sides and pretend that they're better than everyone else. Just break down what they're saying. What is "left-radicalism?" If there's "identity politics" on the Left they're largely behind it.
To try and claim at this point that the mass and momentum of the Left isn't almost entirely behind its identity politics is insane. Just look at this story yesterday with Noah Rothman. Bring a muh individualism argument against the Left today and they explode!

I think people are conflating whether reacting in such a way is moral and whether it is game-theoretically the optimal (or possibly only) viable option.
Intersectionality is the only choice available. That means understanding that the Black Hebrew Israelites represent restorative justice whereas white students from a Catholuc school in the south represent institutional racism just by dint of identity.
The choice of every animal; fight or flight. If it comes to the only politics being identity politics then it’s an existential threat to whatever group is portrayed as the “oppressor”. Like JBP I’d prefer not to play that game, but if forced I’ll play to win or escape.
