Hmm interesting, some of those traits sometimes are also quite common in women, did you find that it was more obvious the difference in the case of men ?

First order positives: more than one source of intimate emotional connection. Second order positives: More robust emotional netting for offspring. IF and big IF it is all sustainable.

This is the exact opposite of my experience, where children been stuck dealing with the fallout of complicated relationship dramas bestowed on them by parents apparently stuck in perpetual teenagerhood.
