The generalization that all journalists are writing "ragebait for clicks" isn't a response I'd expect to read from a scientist. As in the scientific community, there is a range in quality out there. But that doesn't mean that society doesn't need or benefit from good journalism.

Chrissy, as you probably know, I'm a fan. You absolutely bring a refreshing honest perspective. Let the haters hate. PS - Plenty of scientists are full of it. Case in point Ancel Keys.

During my decades as a lackey in the MSM, it seemed to me that 95% of what got published or broadcast by the big outlets was p-r for the Establishment, whether the journalist knew it or not (and most didn’t).
