Apparently every mammal socially constructs aggression in males. It seems strange in every species that it’s only males that are socially constructed this way, but the ways of the patriarchy are mysterious.

Statistics in Australia show that men and women attempt suicide in equal numbers. Men just happen to be more successful.

On average, men are more aggressive & violent than women. This is biological reality. The task of civilization's productively channeling these proclivities into functions such aa exploration, hazardous work, combat & politics, were they can advance & benefit multitudes.

In many mammals, the female is more violent by far (eg, lions). When you exclude fights over mating, levels of violence across genders are about the same.

Female lions do most of the hunting, but they tend not to be aggressive towards other lions. Male lions on the other hand are larger and fight each other for exclusive access to females. Also when a male lion displaces former alpha male the first thing it will do is kill the cubs
