@JeffLadish and I just watched the episode of Planet Earth II in which two male snow leopards descend upon a female snow leopard in heat with cub, *everyone* starts fighting, the female snow leopard gets so badly injured she can't hunt for weeks ... howwww can this workkkk

I found it a little suspect that male snow leopards would try to kill a two year old cub -- would that put them at risk of significant injury? Like sure they'd prefer to remove it but I'd expect them to only risk that for smaller cubs.
