What's it like not to care at all about the truth? Does it make life simpler?

Mr Miller.. it does not things easier to not deal in truth in some ways.. It can hurt to think about what you follow.. I had such a headache when I had to face earth is over 6K old and then I read what the Bible actually says.. Reading it & admitting what was in there was hard.

Sure, it does. In the short term... In the medium to long term however, you're screwed, as your version of reality moves ever farther from objective reality (as perceivable by reasonable humans). Ideologues always stumble eventually.
