I dropped about 5 pages on that topic in December. No question. Wandered back through the last 1000 years to defend religion from the perspective of a pro-choice atheist. My colleagues thought I had snapped.

If the kids were Jewish liberals attending a synagogue school media execs would never have allowed the story. Only applies to whites, Catholics or Trump supporters

There's a big chance there are several media "bubbles" biased in different directions. Yes, one bubble might be the biggest of them all, but I think it's misleading to sweep the existence of multi-directional biases under the rug.

That said, the bias you're probably talking about is less anti-Catholic and more anti-Republican. Think about how different the reactions would be to a pro-Trump Catholic and to an anti-Trump Catholic...
