I think the Gillette-ad would have been fare more appealing to men if they tried to convey the same message but using this frame: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_HL0wiK4Zc …

I mean, can you really blame them, though? Most of that commerical, other than the last few seconds, painted the current grouping as "offenders" and "enablers" with little amibiguity in between and at least a reasonable sense that it was "mostly" enablers. (1)

I think the bare fact is that the commercial obviously was pivoting off the concepts of patriarchy and toxic masculinity. So, the real discussion is what one thinks of those ideologies. What do you think of them?

Yeah? Or is it large large sums of ideologically deranged people moving up to A and B level management and projecting their indoctrination to society under the veil of having good intentions. I wonder.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's just the case that conservatives correctly see the Gillette add as part of the left's larger kulturkampf
-
You all are delusional. There isn’t a kulturkampf. There’s only the conservative failure to stop culture changing. There’s not cadre of “the left” moving in the shadows to produce razor ads.
