Reminds me of the time I was explaining some stuff about group selection to a physicist at Los Alamos, and he started running away with the conversation, jumping to the next point before I could get the words out. Not a psychologist.

Physicists have to learn to figure out how things work or someone who knows will prove them (undeniably) wrong. Most psychologists have to figure out what to SAY in order to avoid being punished for unfashionable opinions. Diff skill set, more like politician or comedian.

I know Claire is trying to get out the ‘NAPALT’ (not all psychologists are like that), but there’s no way for the average guy to know if their therapist is part of the misandry collective of ‘approved’ psychologists.
