The mathematical argument is that the correlation is only for low IQ, and vanishes for high IQ. But the "average" correlation is like .5. So having high IQ has 0 correlation with, say, high SAT. Therefore, it only works for low IQ. Where correlation is actually 0.8
He'll still be studied in 50 years as an example of how malignant narcissism can destroy a man's reputation in an era when its easy to fact-check his false claims.

And if IQ is actually as effective at predicting outcomes and achieving success as its proponents claim, this will be borne out in 50 years, then 100 years, and so on. That's the whole point of Taleb's harping on the Lindy Effect.
