Would an IQ test come out different if I took it in my native language Swedish or in my 2nd language English (I'm academic proficient in English, took diagnostic test on word knowledge in college for a master in English. Didn't do it.)? @BenWinegard @EPoe187 @primalpoly
In a semi-proficient second language, you'd probably score a bit lower on 'verbal intelligence' , but about the same on non-verbal 'performance intelligence'. This is why people should usually be tested in their native language.
