Massive supranational bureaucracies and 'cosmopolitan' norms aren't inspiring to most of us. We do need some kind of synthesis of modern knowledge and spiritual wisdom focussing on consciousness to enable us to transcend materialism and egoism. I'll certainly read David's book.
