"IQ" THREAD "IQ" measures an inferior form of intelligence, stripped of 2nd order effects, meant to select paper shufflers, obedient IYIs. 1- When someone asks you a question in REAL LIFE, you focus first on "WHY is he asking me that?", which slows down. (Fat Tony vs Dr John)

Nassim, I have huge respect for you, but you really don't know what you're talking about wrt intelligence. You should stop and read more. This is embarrassing. Seriously.

If IQ metric is bad and/or misleading and/or not useful and/or harmful according to Taleb, is there a Fat Tony test or Skin in the Game test or something which can *quantity* what he is talking about?

Yeah, its called real life success. The problem is people take it personally, i don't think Taleb is saying IQ is bullshit altogether. Street smarts are useless unless you have a high enough intelligence to analyze real world situations/events

How do you _predict_ real-life success better than IQ plus conscientiousness? Show me the data.
